Congratulations  to  the  class  of  201 7!  As  you  graduate  from  high  school  it  is  a  time  to  look  back  at  the  memories  you  have  created  and  look  forward  to  new  challenges  and  a 
new  beginning.  You  have  left  your  mark  on  Silver  Lake  Regional  High  School  and  our  community.  You  are  a  class  that  is  full  of  school  spirit!  This  was  evidenced  by  the 
expansive  homecoming  activities,  including  the  tailgating  competition  and  superfan  groups,  which  made  us  all  proud  with  the  continuous  support  you  showed  each  other. 

Your  diligence  and  determination  in  the  classroom  certainly  paid  off.  The  results  can  be  seen  in  all  that  you've  accomplished  from  high  scores  on  MCAS,  AP  and  SATs,  to 
countless  accolades  for  your  student  council  representatives,  athletic  teams,  performances  in  the  arts,  community  volunteers  and  awards  earned  in  the  CTE  programs.  Your 
achievements  over  the  last  four  years,  however,  are  just  the  beginning  of  the  all  the  great  things  you  will  set  out  to  do  in  your  lifetime.  Be  kind  to  each  other,  stay  safe  and

Four  years  ago  you  arrived  as  eager  and  energetic  freshmen,  ready  to  make  this  place  your  own.  You  immediately  made  it  known  to  the  staff  and  community  that  your  class 
was  different  from  others,  that  you  were  here  to  leave  an  impression.  You  were  respectful  and  responsible,  hardworking  and  motivated,  creative  and  athletic,  full  of  school

When  thinking  back  on  the  past  four  years,  there  is  not  a  teacher 
more  responsible  for  the  growth  of  the  Class  of  2017  as  a  whole 
than  Mrs.  Fontaine.  Her  constant  support  and  dedication  to  our 
class  has  been  the  driving  factor  behind  our  success.  From  her  role 
as  class  advisor,  being  there  day  in  and  day  out,  ensuring  that 
everything  we  did  went  exactly  how  we  dreamed  it  would;  to 
yearbook  advisor,  making  sure  every  memory  we  made  was

A  Message  from  the 
Class  President 

To  the  Class  of  201 7, 

Attending  Silver  Lake  Regional  High  School  over  the  past 
four  years  with  all  of  you  has  been  quite  an  honor.  I  can  still 
remember  the  first  day  of  classes  as  a  freshman  -  going  to  a 
new  school  and  trying  to  fit  in  amongst  so  many  new  faces. 
I'm  so  thankful  for  all  of  the  wonderful  people  I  have  met 
and  the  friendships  I  have  made  that  I  know  will  outlive  our 
time  here.  We  began  this  journey  together  and  we  will 
complete  it  together  as  well  -  from  navigating  hallways 
and  schedules  to  choosing  colleges  and  plans  for  the  future. 
We  have  studied  together,  competed  together,  planned 
and  succeeded  together.  And  in  June,  we  will  graduate 
together  and  start  the  next  step  in  our  journey,  made  strong 
from  the  academic  foundation  given  to  us  by  our  teachers, 
and  the  support  we  received  from  each  other. 

I  feel  very  privileged  to  be  a  part  of  this  class  -  as  we  put 
our  own  stamp  on  the  history  of  Silver  Lake  Regional  High 
School.  I  wish  all  of  the  best  to  my  fellow  classmates  as  we 
face  a  future  that  looms  bright  and  extraordinary.
